The Risk Engineer will:


  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities during the whole project life cycle: prospect, proposal and execution phases (quantitative risk assessment) and set-up, in coordination with the Project Risk & Opportunity Management Vice President, a control strategy which enables to reduce risks and enhance opportunities on Projects;
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities for Clients, whenever requested under the Contract (qualitative risk assessment) and set-up, in coordination with the Project Risk & Opportunity Management Vice President, a control strategy, extended to the Client, to reduce risks and enhance opportunities;
  • Provide standard execution of project risk and opportunity management activities;
  • Periodically monitor risks and opportunities on projects under execution and report the relevant status to Project Risk & Opportunity Management VP and top management.


Main Activities and Responsibilities:


  • Perform the Project Risk Analysis on projects in proposal and execution phases and prepare the related Reports;
  • Perform the Project Risk Analysis for Clients, according to contractual requirements, and prepare the required Reports;
  • Monitor the implementation of the defined control strategy actions and the relevant efficacy;
  • Prepare the internal documentation relevant to project risks and opportunities at project and portfolio level;
  • Keep the Knowledge Management Database up to date with the emerged risks and opportunities
  • Prepare the pertinent reports for VP and Top Management;
  • Prepare Lessons Learnt emerging from the Project Risk Analysis;
  • Ensure continuous improvement of working tools.


Personal Attributes:


  • Degree in engineering discipline;
  • 6/8 years experience in a similar role preferably in multinational and EPC business context;
  • Analytical approach;
  • High flexibility and teamwork attitude;
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
