Reporting to the Commercial and Business Development Vice President of NEXTCHEM, the candidate will co-ordinate the Commercial and Business Development activities associated with the initiatives in the “GREEN GREEN” Business Area.


In this role she/he will be the key team player to manage the process, in order to support the sales activities of NEXTCHEM.


All of this work occurs in the context of an active environment, with several initiative in different states of delivery, so the position will also have a direct connection with revenue generating activities, exposure to third party environments (Licensees, Third-party engineering companies, potential M&A, Partnership, suppliers…), and opportunities to travel throughout the world.



The candidate will be the single point of accountability for the delivery of the project to the client and for ensuring the compliance with the term and conditions stipulated in the Contract.


In addition to the above, the candidate will support the development of the initiatives portfolio of NEXTCHEM by actively scooting the market. In particular, in cooperation with the MAIRE TECNIMONT M&A department and the NEXTCHEM Technology Department, the canditate will perform intelligence about potential technology acquisition and/or third parties cooperation/partnership or implementation of Production JV by developing the relevant business cases.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:



  • in accordance with Business Plan, identify potential Targets of Cooperation for “Production” and “Licensing” Opportunities;
  • for the technology in our portfolio, identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business;
  • for Operating Plants controlled by NEXTCHEM, identify new clients and implement new business;
  • develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing relationships;
  • partner with Proposal Manager to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients;
  • negotiate contract terms with clients and/or Partners and communicate terms to stakeholders.



Personal Attributes:


  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Chemical Engineering;
  • extensive years of experience working in a similar Licensing environment added with in-depth knowledge. Affinity with the petrochemical process is required for adding the right value. Doing business with other countries and parts of the world is something you feel comfortable and familiar with;
  • strong communication liaising with the different stakeholders and technical and commercial drive. The ability to be creative at new technical solutions or commercials compromises are important assets to this role. 
  • keen entrepreneurship, accurate, flexible with strong focus on service for our customers, able to work with deadlines on results and team spirit.
  • availability to travel.
