Job Post:    Layout & Piping Field Engineer

Description

The Field Engineer executes the assigned activities following the instructions given by the Field Engineering Manager, and in accordance with the Engineering Practices and Quality Standards in force within the team, job requirements, time schedule and cost requirements.

FE will be part of the Field Engineering Team supporting the construction activities of the MAIN COTRACTOR at Project Construction Site (Alexandria, Egypt).

Key activities and responsibilities

· Updates the Engineering Documentation (Isometrics, Lay out, etc) following the development of the construction activities.

 

  • 3D Model update (Smart Plant 3D)
  • Prepare TSI 
  • Reply to Technical Queries 
  • Participation to meeting with client and/or Construction Company.
  •  Ensure adequate flow of information within the project team both at site and to Home Office.

 

The above activities may be executed directly by the FE or with the support of the Engineering Centre that have been involved in the project.

Professional Requirements



  • 10 years’ experience in Oil and Gas sector with the same role 
  • Basic knowledge of Stress Analysis 
  • Experience in management of external design centres 
  • Experience of working in construction sites 
  • Good knowledge of English 
  • Strong skills in design by Smart Plant 3D 
  • Contratto a tempo determinato
